How to connect Buy Me a Coffee

Step 1: Create an Integration

Go to your organization’s Integrations page.
Click Add Integration and select Buy Me a Coffee.
You’ll receive a unique Webhook URL. Copy it.

Step 2: Add the Webhook in Buy Me a Coffee

In your Buy Me a Coffee dashboard, open Integrations and click New webhook.
Give it a name and paste your Hookfire webhook URL as the Endpoint URL.
Click Add events and pick the ones you want, for example donations, memberships and extras.
Save it.

Step 3: Signing Secret

Open the webhook’s details and copy its Signing Secret.
Paste it into the Signing Secret field on your Hookfire integration page.

Buy Me a Coffee signs each delivery with the x-signature-sha256 header, and Hookfire refuses anything that does not match. If you roll the secret in Buy Me a Coffee, paste the new one here straight away: the old one stops working at once.

Step 4: Subscribe to Events

On your Hookfire integration page, toggle on the events you want to receive push notifications for.

Step 5: Test

Use Send test event on the webhook in Buy Me a Coffee, or click Test next to an event on your Hookfire integration page.
