How to connect Ko-fi

Step 1: Create an Integration

Go to your organization’s Integrations page.
Click Add Integration and select Ko-fi.
You’ll receive a unique Webhook URL. Copy it.

Step 2: Add the Webhook in Ko-fi

In Ko-fi, open your webhooks settings.
Paste your Hookfire webhook URL and save it.

Ko-fi sends every payment to this one URL: donations, membership payments, commissions and shop orders. See Ko-fi’s help article.

Step 3: Verification Token

Ko-fi does not sign its webhooks. Instead each one carries your account’s verification token, shown on the same webhooks page.

Copy the verification token.
Paste it into the Signing Secret field on your Hookfire integration page.

Hookfire then refuses any request that does not carry your token.

Step 4: Subscribe to Events

On your Hookfire integration page, toggle on the events you want to receive push notifications for. Tapping a notification opens the payment on Ko-fi.

Ko-fi tells you about each membership payment but not when a membership ends.

Step 5: Test

Use Ko-fi’s Send test buttons on the webhooks page, or click Test next to an event on your Hookfire integration page.
