How to connect Paddle

Connecting Paddle to Hookfire

Step 1: Create an Integration

  1. Go to your organization’s Integrations page.
  2. Click Add Integration and select Paddle.
  3. You’ll receive a unique Webhook URL — copy it.

Step 2: Add the Webhook in Paddle

  1. In the Paddle Dashboard, go to Developer Tools → Notifications.
  2. Click New destination.
  3. Set the Type to Webhook.
  4. Paste your Hookfire webhook URL.
  5. Select the events you want to receive.
  6. Click Save.

Step 3: Copy the Signing Secret

  1. In the Paddle notification destination settings, find the Signing Secret (also called the Endpoint Secret Key).
  2. Copy the secret (starts with pdl_ntfset_).
  3. Go back to your Hookfire integration page and paste it into the Signing Secret field.

Step 4: Subscribe to Events

On your Hookfire integration page, toggle on the events you want to receive push notifications for.

Step 5: Test

Use Paddle’s Simulate button in the notification settings to send a test event.
