How to connect Paddle

Step 1: Create an Integration

Go to your organization’s Integrations page.
Click Add Integration and select Paddle.
You’ll receive a unique Webhook URL. Copy it.

Step 2: Add the Webhook in Paddle

In the Paddle dashboard, go to Paddle → Events → Notifications.
Click New destination.
Set the Notification type to Webhook.
Paste your Hookfire webhook URL into URL.
Select the events you want to receive.
Click Save destination.

Step 3: Copy the Signing Secret

Copy the destination’s secret key (it starts with pdl_ntfset_).
Go back to your Hookfire integration page and paste it into the Signing Secret field.

Hookfire refuses deliveries whose signature does not match or that are more than five minutes old.

Step 4: Subscribe to Events

On your Hookfire integration page, toggle on the events you want to receive push notifications for.

Step 5: Test

In Paddle, go to Paddle → Events → Simulations, click New simulation, pick your Hookfire destination and an event, then click Run simulation.
