How to connect Postmark

Connecting Postmark to Hookfire

Step 1: Create an Integration

  1. Go to your organization’s Integrations page.
  2. Click Add Integration and select Postmark.
  3. You’ll receive a unique Webhook URL — copy it.

Step 2: Add the Webhook in Postmark

  1. Go to your Postmark server.
  2. Select the server you want to monitor.
  3. Navigate to Settings → Webhooks.
  4. Click Add Webhook.
  5. Paste your Hookfire webhook URL into the Webhook URL field.
  6. Select the events you want to receive (Delivery, Bounce, Spam Complaint, Open, Click, Subscription Change).
  7. Click Save Webhook.

Step 3: Signing Secret

Postmark does not currently support webhook signing. For additional security, consider restricting webhook access by IP address. Postmark publishes their sending IPs in their documentation.

The Signing Secret field in Hookfire can be left empty for Postmark integrations.

Step 4: Subscribe to Events

On your Hookfire integration page, toggle on the events you want to receive push notifications for.

Step 5: Test

Click the Test button on your integration page, or send a test email through Postmark to trigger real events.
