How to connect Razorpay

Step 1: Create an Integration

Go to your organization’s Integrations page.
Click Add Integration and select Razorpay.
You’ll receive a unique Webhook URL. Copy it.

Step 2: Add the Webhook in Razorpay

Log in to the Razorpay Dashboard and go to Accounts & Settings.
Under Website and app settings, click Webhooks.
Click + Add New Webhook.
Paste your Hookfire webhook URL into the URL field.
Enter a Secret of your choosing (recommended, and not your API key secret).
Under Active Events, select the events you want to receive (e.g. payment.captured, refund.created).
Click Create Webhook.

Step 3: Paste the Secret into Hookfire

Copy the secret you entered in Step 2.
Go back to your Hookfire integration page and paste it into the Signing Secret field.

Razorpay signs each delivery with HMAC-SHA256 in the X-Razorpay-Signature header. Without a secret, Hookfire accepts deliveries without checking them.

Step 4: Subscribe to Events

On your Hookfire integration page, toggle on the events you want to receive push notifications for.

Step 5: Test

Click Send test next to an event on your integration page to send a simulated event.
