How to connect Resend

Connecting Resend to Hookfire

Step 1: Create an Integration

Go to your organization’s Integrations page.
Click Add Integration and select Resend.
You’ll receive a unique Webhook URL — copy it.

Step 2: Add the Webhook in Resend

Go to your Resend dashboard.
Click Add Webhook.
Paste your Hookfire webhook URL into the Endpoint URL field.
Select the events you want to receive (e.g., email.sent, email.delivered, email.bounced).
Click Add.

Step 3: Copy the Signing Secret

After creating the webhook, Resend will display a Signing Secret (starting with whsec_).
Copy the full secret (including the whsec_ prefix).
Go back to your Hookfire integration page and paste it into the Signing Secret field.
Resend uses Svix for webhook delivery and signs payloads with HMAC-SHA256 — Hookfire will verify each delivery automatically.

Step 4: Subscribe to Events

On your Hookfire integration page, toggle on the events you want to receive push notifications for.

Step 5: Test

Click the Test button on your integration page, or send a test email via Resend to trigger a real event.
