How to connect RevenueCat

Step 1: Create an Integration

Go to your organization’s Integrations page.
Click Add Integration and select RevenueCat.
You’ll receive a unique Webhook URL. Copy it.

Step 2: Add the Webhook in RevenueCat

In the RevenueCat dashboard, open your project.
Under Integrations in the left menu, choose Webhooks.
Click Add new configuration and give it a name.
Paste your Hookfire webhook URL into the Webhook URL field.
Leave the authorization header empty: Hookfire checks the signature instead.
Choose the environment (production, sandbox or both), the apps and, if you like, the event types to send.
Save the configuration.

Step 3: Turn on Signing and Copy the Secret

In the webhook configuration, toggle on HMAC webhook signing.
Copy the signing secret right away. RevenueCat shows it only once.
Go back to your Hookfire integration page and paste it into the Signing Secret field.

RevenueCat then signs every delivery in the X-RevenueCat-Webhook-Signature header, and Hookfire refuses anything that does not match or is more than five minutes old. Rotate secret issues a new secret and stops the old one at once, so paste the new one into Hookfire straight after rotating.

Without signing turned on, leave the Signing Secret field in Hookfire empty: a secret pasted there makes Hookfire refuse every unsigned delivery.

Step 4: Subscribe to Events

On your Hookfire integration page, toggle on the events you want to receive push notifications for.

Step 5: Test

Use RevenueCat’s Send test event button in the webhook configuration to verify the integration.
