Introducing Hookfire: Push Notifications for Every Webhook You Care About

Introducing Hookfire.png

Hookfire turns webhooks from Stripe, GitHub, Shopify, Zendesk and 25+ other platforms into instant push notifications on your phone. No backend, no code, no babysitting dashboards.

Introducing Hookfire

If you run a product, you probably spend a shocking amount of time refreshing dashboards.

Refreshing Stripe to see if the payment came through. Refreshing GitHub to see if the deploy finished. Refreshing Zendesk to see if anyone replied. It’s death by a thousand tabs.

We built Hookfire because we were tired of it.

What is Hookfire?

Hookfire is the missing bridge between the tools that send webhooks and the phone in your pocket.

You get a unique webhook URL. You paste it into Stripe, GitHub, Shopify, Zendesk, Crisp, Intercom, Vercel, Sentry — any service that speaks webhooks. From that moment on, every important event lands as a push notification on your phone, in under 3 seconds.

No backend. No server. No code. No cron jobs or polling or glue scripts. You set it up in about 2 minutes, and you never think about it again.

Why we built it

The pattern kept repeating for every founder and developer we talked to:

  • “I just want to know the second someone pays.”
  • “I want to catch failed deploys before my users tell me about them.”
  • “I want to know when a customer reaches out — not three hours later when I check email.”
  • “Building all this myself is a weekend project I’ll never finish.”

Webhooks already solve the first half of this problem. Every serious SaaS platform emits them. But turning a webhook into something that pings you has always required backend code, a notification service (OneSignal, Expo, APNs), domain knowledge about push certificates, and ongoing maintenance.

Hookfire collapses all of that into a single URL.

What you get

  • Instant push notifications for every event, with a rich title and body rendered from the actual payload.
  • 25+ pre-configured integrations out of the box — Stripe, PayPal, Paddle, Shopify, WooCommerce, GitHub, GitLab, Vercel, Sentry, Cloudflare, Resend, Postmark, Zendesk, Intercom, Crisp, Help Scout, Clerk, and more.
  • Signature verification on every incoming webhook, so you can trust what you’re notified about.
  • Event-level subscriptions — opt in only to the events that matter. No noise.
  • A real mobile app (iOS and Android), not an email gateway pretending to be realtime.
  • Free to start, with Pro and Max plans when you outgrow the free tier.

Who it’s for

Hookfire is built for the people who don’t have time to build their own notification infrastructure:

  • Indie hackers shipping solo who need to stay on top of revenue and support.
  • Small teams who want a shared pulse on their product without opening 15 tabs.
  • Developers who want to monitor deploys, errors, and important events without setting up PagerDuty-grade tooling.
  • Bootstrappers who want to keep their business in their pocket.

Try it in 2 minutes

  1. Sign up and grab your webhook URL.
  2. Paste it into Stripe (or GitHub, or whatever you want to monitor).
  3. Install the app, subscribe to the events you care about, and go.

That’s it. The next time money lands, a deploy ships, or a customer writes in, your phone will tell you — before you have to think about asking.
